Our Mission

CareMessage is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower healthcare organizations with mobile technologies to improve health outcomes and reduce cost of care.

Working together to improve healthcare.

We have brought together an incredible team

Focusing on Improving outcomes for the underserved

Building solutions for the underserved.

Help us change the world

Make a real impact in healthcare!

Our Technology

At CareMessage, we believe that better outcomes come from better patient engagement—and that mobile technology is at the heart of an effective engagement strategy for underserved patients. A 2011 Pew Research study demonstrated that text messaging usage is 2-4x higher among lower income, less educated populations, and that open rates typically reach 98%. With this in mind, we created a powerful platform that allows healthcare centers to use mobile messaging to remind patients of upcoming appointments, fill gaps in care, provide education and allow one-to-one provider-to-patient communications.

Our History and Support

CareMessage has raised $21M in philanthropic capital from major institutions including Google.org, Y Combinator, the Pershing Square Foundation, the Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation, Echoing Green, the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, the National Institutes of Health, the CVS Health Foundation, the Marc and Laura Andreessen Foundation and the William K. Bowes Jr. Foundation. CareMessage is a remote-first organization that employs 50+ people (and growing) all around the country and world.

Our Vision

Thanks to the strong partnerships we have built with our investors, the immense talent we have brought in to serve our mission, and above all the unparalleled outcomes our customers and patients achieve, we have had the great privilege of serving as the leader in healthcare technology for underserved populations.
