CareMessage and VotER, a 501c3 nonprofit organization with a mission to use healthcare settings as a place to register patients to vote or help with mail-in ballot voting hosted a webinar for safety net providers. Progressive Community Health Centers also shared their patient engagement strategy to improve civic health with their patient population.
The session focused on how to use text messaging to address Civic Engagement with underserved patients, including:
- Voter Registration, Requesting Absentee Ballots, and Fighting Voter Suppression.
- Strategies from Progressive Community Health Centers on how to share in-clinic and digital resources with patients to impact voter registration
